CR 33 Arsenic Selective Media
Aldex CR 33 is based on ion exchange resin designed to selectively remove arsenic from ground water without affecting the characteristics of influent water. Aldex CR 33 performs well in spite of the presence of common anions such as chlorides, sulfates or bicarbonates. Aldex CR 33 is used like conventional ion exchange resins.
Operates at conventional pressure and flow rates as conventional IX systems.
Arsenic Removal without Oxidation
Removes up to 99% of arsenite (As III) and arsenate (AsV) from solution without needing to oxidize As III to AsV.
High Adsorptive Capacity
Based on iron oxide chemistry, Aldex CR 33 has demonstrated high adsorptive capacity easily meeting the 10 ppb MCL effluent requirement.
Removes Heavy Metals
Removes heavy metals such as Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Antimony (Sb), Vanadium (V), and Molybdenum (Mo).
CR 33 is a non-regenerable media making it very easy to use.
Highly effective arsenic removal media that can lower long term operation costs. Will treat >500,000 US gallons per cubic foot based on a 50 ppb influent. Typical life span for CR 33 is 2 to 3 years with 50 ppb influent As level.
Safe for TCLP After Exhaustion
Once exhausted, media is non-toxic, passes Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) as per EPA 1311 and may be disposed of as a non-hazardous material.
